This is a story of 'The Chosen One' and yes it's a take on Harry Potter but if you get into the story you'll know what I mean. May be majority won't agree with me but if you read this book without pre-conceived notions of Harry Potter then you'll see how it's all different. I know we all think that this is Harry Potter's story and I thought the same when I read Fangirl by Rowell but it is somehow different to that. ![]() In fact this is added to my all time favourite list. ![]() This has got to be my most favourite Rainbow Rowell book. Aside from that no complaints at all.Īll Rainbow Rowell fans, this can't be missed. The only thing that bugged me was that it was set in the same universe as Harry Potter. I even considered myself to be Simon Snow fan until I remembered that I'm not Cath and also I'm a Harry Potter fan. I felt all the things that Cath felt, I liked what and whom she liked. I really don't know, it's so hard to choose(not that anyone's asking me to choose).Ĭath, oh my god how I loved her character and Levi is pretty good too. I don't know if I love this more than Eleanor and Park. After reading Eleanor and Park, I expected so much from this book and again I'd say I wasn't disappointed. Rainbow Rowell knows how to keep her fans happy and interested in her books. Reviews for both these books are as follows: I loved both these book and would say that Carry On is definitely one of my favourite books of all time. ![]() 7/5/2023 0 Comments Grown ups marian keyes review![]() With the countless characters and their many complex relationships, the book can seem a little confusing at the beginning for some but stick the pace because it all falls into place and, once finished, most are sad to see the complicated clan go. Throughout the book the Casey clan delivers an endless amount of drama peppered by author Marian Keyes’s signature humour, while simultaneously addressing serious, real-life issues such as bulimia, anxiety, depression and alcoholism. The three Casey brothers, their wives and assorted children all spend a lot of time together, but tensions are simmering under the surface from old resentments, second marriages, truculent teenagers, step-siblings and fears of insufficiency. ![]() Grown Ups is a lively, fast-paced and moving story about a highly dysfunctional (although hilarious at times) Irish family, The Caseys, and all of their complex, entangled stories. ![]() 7/5/2023 0 Comments Sovereign novel cj sansom![]() Sansom began his Matthew Shardlake series in 2003 with the novel Dissolution.
